Woman identified following theft in Selby Morrisons CCTV appeal

The woman who officers wanted to speak to following a theft by finding at Morrisons in Selby on Friday 14 June 2019 has been identified and is helping with their enquiries. Thank you to all who assisted with the appeal.

Police have issued CCTV of a woman they would like to speak to following a theft by finding at Morrisons in Selby on Friday 14 June 2019.

At around 6.45pm a man had withdrawn £40 cash back at the self checkout till and had forgotten to take the money. CCTV captured a person approaching the checkout and removing the cash.

Officers are asking members of the public to get in touch if they recognise the person in the image, as they believe they will have information that will assist the investigation.
