CCTV appeal following an incident of violent disorder in Whitby on New Year’s Eve

Police have issued CCTV of a number of people they would like to speak to following an incident of violent disorder that happened in Whitby on New Year's Eve.

It happened on Baxtergate at around 6.15pm on 31 December 2018 and involved a group of men fighting in the street.

Two of the men were knocked unconscious and one was taken to hospital by ambulance.

Officers are asking members of the public to get in touch if they recognise the people in the images as they believe they will have information that will help the investigation.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 and ask to speak to Andrew Metcalfe.
