CCTV appeal following attack and mobile phone theft in York

York police are investigating after a man was attacked and had his mobile phone stolen in York.

The incident happened on St. Leonards Place, York at around 4am on Sunday 12 November 2017, when the victim, a 20-year-old man was walking in the direction of Exhibition Square when he was punched in the face and had his phone stolen by two men.

Officers would like to speak to the two men pictured on CCTV as they may have important information that could assist the investigation.
