CCTV appeal following burglary and fraudulent use of stolen bank card

Police have issued CCTV images of a male they would like to speak to following a house burglary in York and the subsequent use of a stolen bank.

It happened in Norfolk Street, off Bishopthorpe Road, between 11pm on Friday 24 May and 9am on Saturday 25 May 2019.

A purse was stolen from the house and the bank card was used eight times in several shops in the local area and  York city centre.

Officers are asking members of the public to get in touch if they recognise the person in the images as they believe he will have information that will help the investigation.
