CCTV appeal following fraudulent activity in York

Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to following a fraudulent exchange at Monks Cross in York

It happened at Sainsbury’s on Jockey Lane at around 5pm on Saturday 20 July 2019 and involved a number of fraudulent notes being exchanged in the store.

Officers are asking members of the public to get in touch if they recognise the man in the image as they believe they will have information that will help the investigation.
