CCTV appeal following purse theft in Skipton supermarket

Police investigating the theft of a purse in a Skipton supermarket have released CCTV footage of a man they would like to speak to.

At 12.25pm on Thursday 14 December 2017 a man entered Marks & Spencer Simply Food in Skipton. He approached the elderly victim from behind and removed her purse from a shoulder bag that she was carrying.

Officers would like to speak to the man pictured on CCTV as he may have important information that could assist the investigation.
