CCTV appeal following shop theft of Mulberry bags in York

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a shop theft that occurred in York

CCTV appeal following shop theft of Mulberry bags in York

It happened at the Mulberry shop on Swinegate, York at 4.29pm on Friday 22 December 2017 when a man entered the store and took two items from an open display before leaving the store without offering payment.

The items taken were:

– A small red handbag with ostrich skin with long gold chain valued at £397

– A pouch in orange and black zig-zag with an “L” shaped zip valued at £137. The zig-zag is described as looking like an “M”.

Officers are asking for the public’s help to identify the man shown in the images as he may have important information that could assist the investigation.
