CCTV appeal following theft and fraudulent use of bank card

Police have released CCTV stills of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the theft and fraudulent use of a bank card in Acomb, York.

The theft took place from an HGV cab parked at the Lidl Foodstore on Thanet Road, York, at 9am on Saturday 10 November 2018. The suspect has then attended two newsagents on Beagle Ridge Drive, York, minutes later where he used the contactless card to make purchases.

Officers are asking members of the public to get in touch if they recognise the man in the images, as they believe he will have important information that will help the investigation.
