Dog bite incident: man identified following CCTV appeal

A man who police wanted to speak to about a dog biting incident in Stokesley has come forward as a result of a CCTV appeal. Officers would like to thank everyone who shared the appeal and provided information.

Police have issued CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to following an incident of a dog biting a customer at the Co-op in High Street, Stokesley, on Boxing Day.

The incident occured in the morning of Tuesday 26 December 2019. A customer in the store was bitten by another customer’s dog, causing injury which required hospital treatment.

Officers are asking the man in the CCTV image to get in touch, and members of the public to get in touch if they recognise him, as they believe he will have information that will help the investigation.
