CCTV appeal to identify woman following an assault in York city centre bar

Police have issued a CCTV image of a woman that they would like to speak to, following an assault on a woman in a York bar.

The assault took place at Revolution in Coney Street at 4.30pm on Monday 25 March 2019 and involved a suspect jumping onto the victim’s table and punching the victim, who was celebrating her 21st birthday,  in the head numerous times.

Officers have conducted enquiries and are releasing an image of a woman and asking members of the public to get in touch if they recognise her, as they believe she has information that will assist their investigation.

She is described as white, with long blond hair and was wearing black jeans and a white and leopard print top. She is also thought to have had two ’18’ balloons attached to her.
