CCTV images released following use of fraudulent bank notes to purchase goods from shops at Monks Cross Shopping Park, York

Police have released images of a man they would like to speak to regarding the use of fraudulent £50 notes to purchase items from Hobbycraft, Starbucks and Sainsburys supermarket at Monks Cross Shopping Park in York.

The images were captured at Hobbycraft on Thursday 8 February 2018, when a fraudulent Bank of Ireland £50 note was used to purchase a number of low value items.

The man also visited Starbucks and Sainsburys and purchased items from the stores, allegedly using a fraudulent Bank of Ireland £50 note each time.
