Driver of small silver car sought after woman hit on pedestrian crossing

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a collision that occurred on Falsgrave Road, Scarborough.

It happened at 7.45pm on Friday 26 August 2016 and involved a small silver car turning right from Commerical Street onto Falsgrave Road and collided a female crossing the road at the pedestrian crossing. The driver stopped at the scene but left without leaving any details.
The driver is described as white man with grey hair in his late 50s to early 60s.

Fortunately the incident resulted in a minor injury to the woman’s arm.

At this time police are requesting for the driver of the vehicle to come forward.

Officers are also ppealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who recalls seeing the vehicle prior to the collision, to get in touch as soon as possible to assist the investigation.
