Posted on in Local appeals

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a damage only collision that occurred on Parliament Street, Harrogate.

It happened at 6.10pm on Saturday 18 August 2018 and involved a white new-style Vauxhall Corsa with black alloy wheels knocking over a delivery driver’s Yamaha YBR125 motorcycle outside Wagamama’s causing damage.

The driver did wait for a short time but when the motorcycle rider failed to return, the Corsa driver left the area without exchanging details.

We are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who recalls seeing the vehicle(s) prior to the collision, to get in touch as soon as possible to assist the investigation.

In particular, we are appealing for the driver to come forward as it is possible that they were not aware damage was caused.
