Further appeal for witnesses to an assault outside a bar in Catterick – new CCTV images released

In a further appeal for information about an assault in Catterick, North Yorkshire Police is releasing CCTV images of some potential witnesses, who they would like to speak to.

The incident took place at 1.30am on Sunday 2 June 2019, the evening of a Champions League match between Tottenham and Liverpool,  at the entrance to JT’s Bar on Hildyard Road in Catterick Garrison.

The assault resulted in a man receiving serious injuries to his face, which are consistent with a punch or stamp to the head.

At the time of the incident, the injured man was treated at James Cook Hospital. However, the injuries he sustained are still causing him pain and discomfort.

Police have been carrying out a number of enquiries to trace and speak to all the witnesses to the incident, to establish the full circumstances. At this point, a man has been interviewed under caution.

Officers have now released CCTV images of some possible witnesses and are asking the men pictured to come forward and contact them, as they may hold vital information.
