Harrogate: Cash machine robbery appeal

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a robbery that occurred in Harrogate town centre.

This happened on Cambridge Road at 5.50pm on Wednesday 4 March 2020.

A woman aged in her 70s had been using the cash machine outside Santander bank when an unknown man has reached over and grabbed the money before pushing the woman to the floor and running off.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

Did you witness a man in a blue jacket running away from the area at this time or hanging about the area leading up to the incident? Do you have any CCTV or dashcam recordings around this time?
