Help to trace vehicle involved in pedestrian knockdown in Pickering

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a road traffic collision that occurred on Market Place, Pickering.

It happened at 3pm on Thursday 13 October and involved a silver motor vehicle colliding with a 91-year-old local male, causing him to fall to the floor and suffer minor injuries which were treat at the scene by paramedics. The vehicle did not stop at the scene and drove away towards Smiddy Hill.

We are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who recalls seeing the vehicle to get in touch as soon as possible to assist the investigation.
