High-value mountain bikes stolen in Summerbridge burglary

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses and information about a burglary that occurred in Summerbridge during the evening of Tuesday 27 November 2018.

About 8.30pm on Tuesday 27 November 2018, burglars forced entry to a business unit at the New York Mills industrial estate at Summerbridge near Harrogate.

The burglars drove to the site in a long wheel base panel van. At least five suspects approached a business premises which is a cycle dealership.

A power saw was used to effect entry and a large number of high-value mountain bikes were transferred to the van. The van drove off the site and four of the burglars left the immediate area on foot.
