Leeds man who died in A65 collision named

Police are now in a position to name the man who died in a collision on the A65 just south of Settle at 5.40pm on Saturday 20 October 2018.

He was 61-year-old Jonathan Jeffrey Viney from Leeds.

Mr Viney died when the blue Suzuki GXS 1250 motorbike he was riding was involved in a collision with a silver Citroen Berlingo.

He was taken to Leeds General Infirmary by Air Ambulance, but sadly died a short time later.
