Local patrols stepped up after Killinghall burglary

Police were called to a report of a burglary in progress at 2.05pm on Wednesday 8 May 2019 in the Killinghall area of Harrogate.

A number of suspects entered a property, threatened the homeowner and stole some items, before making off.

The suspects made off from the scene in a black Vauxhall Vectra.

Anyone with information about the burglary, or who may have seen the car involved, is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting reference 12190082884.

Extensive police enquiries are ongoing today. Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team have increased patrols in and around the village area, to assist with the investigation and provide reassurance to the local community.
