Appeal for informaiton after man leaves petrol station without paying for fuel

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses or information about a man who filled his BMW on the 10 of May 2019 at 6.25pm at Brooks Garage Shipton By Beningborough. North Yorkshire Police is appealing for information to identify the male.

The suspect drove into Brooks garage forecourt just outside Shipton By Beningborough and filled his car up with £88 worth of fuel.

He made no attempt to pay for the fuel and left driving north onto the A19. The suspect is white with dark receding hair. He had a beard and black rimmed glasses. He is in mid to late 40’s. He wore a suit and a large jacket over the top. The number plates were removed from the front and back of the dark convertible BMW he was driving.

We are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect who’s image is recorded on good quality CCTV.
