Male throwing rocks onto A6068 in Cowling

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses and information about a man causing a danger to other road users on the A6068 in Cowling.

It happened on the A6068 near Malsis School at around 6.30pm  on Sunday 29 July 2018 and involved a man throwing top stones into the carriageway.

One of these was thrown into the path of a green Mini Cooper causing the car to collide with it. He was later seen doing the same thing in Cowling.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for anybody who witnessed the man throwing the stones into the carriageway. He was believed to have his arm in a sling.
