Man injured in violent York incident

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a violent incident in York.

A 20-year-old man suffered a broken nose in the disorder, which occurred at McDonald’s on Blake Street at around 3am on Monday 12 January 2015.

Police and ambulance services attended the incident which took place both inside and outside McDonald’s.

A 19-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and has been released on police bail as enquiries continue.

Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them with information.
