We’re appealing for information about an assault that occurred in Acomb.
It happened on Monday 9 June 2025 at approximately 8.45pm in the car park of The Co-op store on Beckfield Lane, Acomb, and involved an altercation between a man and a woman.
Both people were aged in their early 20s, and both suffered injuries, but required no hospital treatment.
A man has been arrested in connection to this and has been released on bail pending further investigation.
We’re particularly appealing for information about anyone who may have directly witnesses the incident, and can provide an account on what they saw.
