We’re appealing for information about an attempted robbery that occurred in Cliffe.
It happened at about 6.15pm on 2 March, at the junction between Main Street, Hull Road and Turnham Lane in Cliffe. It involved five men in two silver-coloured vehicles - a pick up truck and a van - attempting to steal a Revvi e-bike from three children.
The victims were unharmed, but understandably very frightened.
The suspects are described as white males aged in their 20s - 30s.
Police house-to-house and CCTV enquiries are ongoing. We’re particularly appealing for information about any person who may have seen the two vehicles, or witnessed the incident itself.
Please email [email protected] if you have any information that could help our investigation.
Alternatively, you can call North Yorkshire Police on 101 and ask for PC 620 Emily Blackwell, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their website.
