Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them, after a black Peugeot 206 was found in a ditch at around 7am on Saturday 29 December 2018. The vehicle was found at the cross roads of Low Moor Road and Moor Lane, near Ivy Cottage in Cliffe Common, Selby.

The vehicle contained a 78-year-old local man, who sadly was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers are currently conducting enquiries to determine the circumstances around the man’s death, which they do not believe is suspicious.
