Pekin hens stolen from Great Ouseburn

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about the theft of between 10 and 14 pekin breed hens from Great Ouseburn.


It happened between Wednesday 21 October and Saturday 24 October 2015. Offenders have trespassed on the complainants private land and taken the hens from a secure hen coop.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about where these hens are now, have you or someone you know been offered the hens for sale.
