Police appeal after cars allegedly attacked in York

Police are appealing for information after a group of youths allegedly attacked several moving vehicles in Tang Hall, York.

It happened at 11pm yesterday (29 February, 2016).

Officers would like to speak to potential witnesses, including the driver of a white Ford Transit van who stopped during the incident.

Two teenagers from the York area, aged 16 and 17, have been arrested in connection with the incident. They have been bailed and enquiries continue.

It is also believed that shortly before this incident a robbery took place involving four males in the Tang Hall area. An unknown male had money taken from him.

Police would like this person to come forward.
