Police appeal following burglary at a home near Harrogate

Officers investigating a residential burglary in Follifoot, Harrogate, are appealing for witnesses and information.

Thieves stole several distinctive items during the break-in at the address in Haggs Road.

It includes several dog certificates, several handmade walking sticks including one in the shape of a badger’s head, a shire horse medallion in a red leather case and a Bramham Moor Hunt trophy from the year 1932.

It happened  between 9am and 3pm on 17 February and despite extensive enquiries, the investigation remains ongoing.

Police are particularly keen on any information as to the whereabouts of these items and would like to hear from anybody who saw people or vehicles acting suspiciously in the area at the time.
