Police are appealing for witnesses after an attempted robbery in Thirsk.
The victim, a 55-year-old man from the Thirsk area, left the Thirsk and Sowerby Institute to head home at about 11.30pm on Tuesday 17 May 2016.
The victim took a small path known locally as the Little Path, located just off Sowerby Road. He was pushed to the ground by an unknown person, and personal items were demanded from him. He suffered slight injuries as a consequence, but did not require hospital treatment.
Police want to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have see anything of note – or anyone who has CCTV covering the area.
