A man has appeared at court following a 24 minute police pursuit in the York and Selby areas.

The pursuit began at the Fulford interchange in York at 1.21am and ended on Hillam Common Lane in Selby.

A police helicopter assisted the operation.

Following questioning in custody, Frame was charged and appeared at York Magistrates’ Court in relation to:

  • dangerous driving on the A64, A19, B1222 and A63
  • driving while disqualified
  • driving without insurance

The case has been committed to York Crown Court on 3 July.

Frame was remanded in custody.
