Stokesley police seek mobile phone footage of violent incident in the Hebron Road area

Police in Stokesley are appealing for mobile phone footage as they investigate a violent disturbance in Stokesley.

It is believed that around 5pm on Saturday 23 December 2017 a fight involving a group of people took place in the fields near Hebron Road and Hebron Court.

Officers understand that people have videoed the incident on their phones and are appealing to anyone who has some footage to come forward.

As a result of the incident, a man sustained cuts to his face.

Anyone who has mobile footage or has any other information about the incident is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for Nicola Pattinson in Northallerton Serious Crime Team. All calls will be treated in the strictest confidence.

Officers are linking the incident with one later that day in which a man sustained face and foot injuries when three people entered his home and attacked him.

Three people have been arrested in relation to the second incident and released on police bail while the investigation continues.
