Taxi driver assaulted in Richmond

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an assault that occurred in Richmond.

It happened on Newbiggin at 2.15am on Monday, 1 April and involved a taxi driver being assaulted.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information from anyone who witnessed the incident and the people involved.
