Theft of two Windows 8 tablets from Sainsburys, Selby

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a shop theft that occurred in Selby.

It happened at Sainsburys, Abbey walk, Selby at 14:05 on 21/06/2015 and involved 2 males who select 2 Windows 8 tablets from the display, remove the Spider security devices and leave the store without paying for the tablets.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about the identity of the persons involved in taking the tablets or persons selling such items.
