Theft of wallet in Morrisons, Skipton

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information after a 90-year-old man's wallet was stolen while shopping in Morrison's store in Skipton.

It happened at the shop on Broughton Road at around 10:30am on Saturday 3rd July 2015.

The victim was walking around the store with his wife when his wallet was taken. A short time later, an amount of cash was withdrawn from his account using the Tesco’s mini bank.

Both the victim and his wife are very upset by what has happened and officers are appealing to anyone who has any information.

In particular, officers are appealing to anyone who can help identify the suspect or knows who is responsible, to contact them.
