Update: man arrested at Kirby Misperton

A 29-year old man, who had climbed up a rig at the hydraulic fracturing site in Kirby Missperton, has been arrested.

The man climbed down from the rig at about 3.45pm.

He has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated trespass and criminal damage. He remains in custody at this time.

A man and woman remain on a platform which is 60ft up the rig.

They have been issued with safety harnesses for their safety.
