Update: Missing Hunmanby man located safe and well following appeal

The 51 year-old Hunmanby man, who was reported missing on the evening of Tuesday 17 April, has been located safe and well following a North Yorkshire Police appeal.

Original release: Urgent appeal to find missing Hunmanby man

Officers have issued an urgent appeal to help find a man missing from Hunmanby.

51 year-old Jan Vanee was reported missing on the evening of Tuesday 17 April.

His vehicle, a grey Ford Mondeo, was last seen in Kilham Village in the East Riding of Yorkshire at 2.15pm earlier in the day.

It is believed he could now be in the Bempton Cliffs area.

Jan is described as White, around 6ft 3ins tall, of slim build and has light brown hair and blue eyes.

Officers are growing increasingly concerned for Jan’s welfare and are appealing to the public for information as to his whereabouts.
