Witness Appeal following collision in Scarborough

Police in Scarborough are appealing for witnesses and information about a road traffic collision that occurred on the A171 Scalby Road just past the Scarborough Rugby Club.

It happened at 0950hrs Sunday 8th February 2015 and involved three cars and a motorcycle.

Minor injuries were sustained by two of the car drivers and were taken by ambulance to Scarborough District Hospital where they were treated and discharged following treatment.

The motorcyclist was airlifted by Air ambulance to James Cook Hospital Middlesbrough and discharged after treatment.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
