Witness appeal following serious collision on the A19 near Crathorne

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a traffic collision on the A19 near Crathorne yesterday evening (Monday 11 July).

The incident happened shortly before 7pm and involved a grey Mazda 6 and an HGV lorry.

As a result of the collision, the 41 year old man form Middlesbrough who was driving the Mazda, was taken to James Cook Hospital with serious injury. His condition is described as critical but stable.
