Witness appeal following theft from van in Sutton in Craven

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about the theft of a Stihl saw from a van on Greenroyd Drive, Sutton in Craven.

The incident happened at 7.30pm on Wednesday 23 January 2019, when two male suspects wearing dark hoodies were seen to walk up Park Avenue, Sutton in Craven. They turned right onto Greenroyd Drive and it is believed they then broke into a white Citroen van which was parked outside the victims home address on Greenroyd Drive, and stole an orange petrol Stihl saw was removed from the van.

It is believed that the suspects were disturbed as they were last seen heading back in the direction of Park Avenue.
