Witness appeal following violent incident on Oxford Street in Harrogate

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a violent incident that occurred in Harrogate.

It happened on Oxford Street in Harrogate at around 02:00hrs on 08th August 2015 and involved a number of individuals who were fighting in the street.

One individual was left requiring treatment and was taken by ambulance to Harrogate Hospital.

A number of individuals were arrested as a result of the incident and remain on police bail at this time.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information from anybody who may have been in the area and witnessed the incident.
