Witness appeal after single-vehicle collision near Thirsk

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision on the A19 near Thirsk on Sunday 24 May 2015.

The collision occurred at about 1.45pm on the A19 dual carriageway northbound, about half a mile north of the junction with the A168, just prior to the A170 flyover. The single vehicle involved, a grey Range Rover Sport, was travelling north when it left the road to the nearside.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw the vehicle being driven on the A19 prior to the collision, or who witnessed the collision itself, to contact them as soon as possible.
