Woman’s bag snatched by man on a bike in Selby

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a bag snatch by a male cyclist in Selby.

It happened on New Millgate at around 10.30pm on Monday (2 October 2017) and involved a man who has grabbed a lady’s bag from the basket on her bike as they cycled past each other.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about the identity of the suspect.

The man is described as white, aged approximately 17 to 18 years old, clean shaven and with fair eyebrows. He was wearing a dark baseball call, dark top and dark tracksuit bottoms.
