York: Appeal following collision at Huntington on Sunday evening

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a collision that occurred at Huntington in York.

It happened on North Lane at approximately 7.30pm on Sunday 26 July 2020 and involved a white Fire & Rescue Ford Transit  and a white Ford Fiesta.

The driver of the Transit van was treated at the scene for minor reddening and soreness to her chest and back at the scene, while the driver of the Fiesta – who had suffered a cut to his head – left the scene in another car described as a small and dark, similar in size to a VW Golf.

The driver of the Fiesta contacted the police on Monday to report the incident.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
